Our Julie
Loved to party – have a good time getting blathered drinking wine
Always had a sense of style her skimpy clothes did make us smile
The most beautiful baby we ever knew peach like skin and eyes of blue
The apple of her Daddy’s eye a chatterbox who rarely cried
Her ailments never got her down always cheerful, never a frown
She had opinions – ideas too - hopes and dreams she thought would come true -
Have straight teeth – get really slim but couldn’t be bothered to go to the gym!
Go to Australia see Sarah and Lou - so many places – so much to do
But she really loved going to Magaluf once a year was never enough
With Hazel, Gill, Janette and her Mum –All squeezed into that flat – but we did have such fun
She loved the simple things in life –Like comfy jamas, scrambled eggs –Boots that didn’t fit her legs!!!
Nights out with her girlie mates or dinner at Aunties – but never home late
Had to be up early for M & S - in Michael’s taxi – hair such a mess
Oh how she loved her job at Marks made lots of friends and had such larks
On those tills she loved to blether about handbags, mince of even the weather -
Or whatever came into her head - never lost for words it must be said
Got lots of bargains if she worked late especially food at ‘sell-by’ date
But our Julie was so kind and true the most generous person we ever knew
She made us laugh and sometimes cry
But had to leave us – we don’t know why!
